• About Pu erh Tea: Pu erh is renowned for its medicinal qualities. Unlike other teas, Pu erh's quality and taste improve with age. Its taste is often described as earthy but some very well aged Pu-erh produce cups of incredibly smooth and wonderfully complex.


• Product description: High quality leaves harvesting from trees (not bushes) located on Bu Lang Mountain, well compressed with just enough tips to mellow the liquor. A pleasant nutty fragrance can be found in the liquor and the wet leaves. Smooth and thick liquor with the typical "water" flavour of young well fermented pu erh tea. This is a pleasant tea to put on the side for a couple of years to leave it some time to work on the quality of its liquor and aroma.


• Health benefits: The Pu erh Cake is purported to reduce blood cholesterol. It is also widely believed in Chinese cultures to counteract the unpleasant effects of heavy alcohol consumption. In traditional Chinese medicine, the tea is believed to invigorate the spleen and the stomach. It also contributes to weight loss.


• Tea Storage: Keep the tea in a cool and dry place, sunlight will help to mature the tea. The longer it is stored the better the flavour and the more valuable it becomes!


• Tea Brewing : We recommend using purple clay tea ware. Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water. Fill the teapot 1/4 full with tea leaves. Steep tea leaves in hot water at 100°c for one minute for the first and second brewing. Gradually increase steeping time for subsequent brewing.
